or at least would try.

if she were to die.

nodding your head,
and she realized the truth
with a feeling of dread.

No one wanted her.
No one cared.
Not even you,
with the the love you shared.

So she said good-bye,
and you watched her leave.
She may have had the rope,
but now you can't breathe.

I feel like a Clockwork Doll,
with a wind up mechanism in my back
I can feel the gears in me moving
controlling my movenments
as my eyes watch in helplessness
I am passed between men
being spun crazily around
doing a dance I never wanted to do,
yet repeatedly being forced to dance
to the tempo of someone else's choice
No, matter how hard I try to the
same thing happens over and over:
Dust me off
Dress me up
Oil my gears
wind me up
have their dance
lock me up
Again and Again
